Sunday Greeters

A few greeters are still needed for 2016.  Sign up for one month out of the year.  This is a good way to meet people and make them feel welcome at FBCP.See Juanita Grevalsky

Thank You!

Thank you to our church family for your generosity, love and prayers during the recent death of our granddaughter in Utah.  We were able to travel to be with our family during this time because of the help from our church. Carolyn & Tom Umble

A Word from Pastor Sam

Share the News About His Coming

17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. 18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. Luke 2:17-18 (NKJV)

As we celebrate the gift of Jesus the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world we need to remember that this gift is to be shared.  The shepherds didn’t keep it to themselves they shared it with everyone as it says “they made widely known the saying that was told them concerning this child”.  So we also as we celebrate need to make widely known the good news and what we have heard and experienced in our relationship with God.

Hark the herald angels sing -  "Glory to the new born King"
Peace on earth and mercy mild -  God and sinners reconciled

Joyful all ye nations rise - Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic host proclaim  "Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark the herald angels sing - "Glory to the new born King"

Notice this Christmas Carol encourages to join with the heavenly host “with angelic host proclaim” in sharing and celebrating Christ birth.
